For my photomedia & artistic practice class.
This piano has been in my family for years. My grandfather was a jazz pianist, who entertained his family and friends on this piano. Family lore goes that the whole neighbourhood would turn up sometimes to hear him play.
Since he died around 40 years ago, the piano has fallen into disrepair, never being tuned or played very often at all. Last year we got it looked at by a piano repairman, and its unfixable.
So it'll never be played again.
I adjusted the levels in photoshop, and did some other things, but I like this unaltered version better.

Alright, so there's a link there, but I'll tell you. If you get a styrofoam bowl, the small kind, and cut a hole in it to fit nicely around your lens, it will make your flash go all the way around and have even lighting, and no shadow casted from the lens cap. FREAKING AWESOME for going into macro mode and stuff like that. In fact, it's more FOR macro mode. Get a BIG bowl for big shots. I used it for everything I did just about, eye shots, flowers, oranges, whatever!
